Your roster, your layout and your chart are saved in your own browser and nowhere else, and you can export a JSON backup any time you want a copy.

Privacy
Your student names are stored only on your device. They are never sent to us or anyone else.
There is no server here that stores your roster, no account to create and no upload step. Everything you enter stays in your browser's local storage, on the device you're using. The one copy that ever leaves the browser is the JSON backup file, and that only happens when you export it yourself, to wherever you choose to save it.
FERPA-friendly by design: we never receive student data. To be precise about what that is and isn't, we are not a certified or accredited district vendor, and no such certification exists for a tool like this. It's a description of how the product works, not a claim of certification.
Questions
Do I need to sign up?
No. Open the tool and start pasting names. There's no account, no email and no password.
Where is my data kept?
In your browser's local storage, on your device only. Clearing your browser data will remove it, so export a JSON backup if you want a copy elsewhere.
